Feast of the Consistory

May 9, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us as we celebrate the Feast of the Consistory and We are pleased to announce that ILL: Chuck Morgan 33º, G.C. will be our guest speaker regarding “The Hunley Submarine Program”.
(May 31) is the day designated by the Statutes of the Supreme Council, A&ASR to be the Feast Day of the Consistory. It is considered by many Scottish Rite Masons to be the most important day in their history, for it was on this day in 1801 when the Scottish Rite formally began as an organized Masonic body. The Feast Day of the Consistory is also known as the FEAST OF THE MANIFESTO of the Order, for it was in the 1802 Manifesto, called the “Circular throughout the two Hemispheres,” where May 31, 1801 was declared to be the formal establishment of the first Supreme Council in Charleston, South Carolina.
